Fresh and Cheerful: A Spring to Summer Tablescape to Welcome the Season

Spring/Summer is the perfect time to bring a burst of color and charm into your home, and what better place to start than the dining room table? For this tablescape, I wanted to create something that feels fresh, light, and joyful—just like the season itself. 

A Floral Centerpiece You Can Take From Spring to Summer

I started with a lush handmade centerpiece bursting with seasonal blooms in shades of purple, yellow, and white. The variety of textures and heights gives the table a garden-like feel, inviting guests to gather and enjoy the season’s beauty up close. 

Layered Place Settings 

To complement the centerpiece, I used floral-themed glass dishes that echo the blooms in the centerpiece. Layering clear glass bowls over the plates allows the floral design to shine through and adds depth to the table. 

Cheerful Linens 

A yellow gingham tablecloth sets the stage for this spring look, bringing warmth and brightness to the table. I paired it with pastel plaid napkins, which offer a soft contrast and a hint of playfulness. 

Simple Touches with Big Impact 

Each place setting includes a wine glass with a mini faux floral accent inside—an easy DIY that adds personality and charm. It’s a small detail that ties everything together without feeling overdone.
